The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the world’s people and their livelihoods. With millions infected and hundreds of thousands dying, we are still coming to terms with the pandemic and struggling to overcome it. Since the threat of the coronavirus virus became known, a major area of concern for healthcare workers initially, and later all workers, was and remains personal protective equipment or PPE. Along with other preventative measures, the lack of PPE became a major issue of conflict between workers and employers. In this show we discuss PPE and other preventative measures at the workplace and workers’ rights in this regard.
