On the 73rd commemoration of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Congolese Civil Society of South Africa will be hosting a conference linking the devastation caused by the atomic bombs dropped on Japan, to the ruin of Shinkolobwe, the village in the Democratic Republic of Congo at the source of the uranium that fueled them.
