According to the latest reports from government, they have managed to address the problem of insufficient supply of lifesaving vaccines but now have a challenge with insufficient demand and uptake by South Africans of the vaccines.

In this show we look at the reasons for the relatively low and slow uptake of vaccines. In particular, we take a closer look at the problem of fake news and conspiracy theories that influence people to become “anti-vaxxers”.
