Over the past year we have looked at Covid-19, the lockdowns and how it impacted on various groups of workers and communities. But in today’s show we want to focus on the response by civil society organizations and especially what they are doing to ensure equitable access to vaccines in the short-term and address inequality in our healthcare system in the longer term.

Hundreds of NGOs and trade unions initially formed the Covid-19 Campaign in 2020 and then eight months ago it initiated the People’s Vaccine Campaign (PVC) to specifically focus on ensuring equitable access to vaccines.
