Care Workers Unite & Fight
Organising for dignity, rights, and a living wage in public healthcare.
THIS MEANS MANY CARE WORKERS FACE RETRENCHMENT IF WE DO NOT ORGANISE.
Our Position
We support improving healthcare — but not by cutting workers. We need more care workers, not fewer. Public healthcare must be strengthened through increased government investment and fair taxation.
Our Demands
Living wage for all care workers
Full worker rights and protections
Access to benefits and social protection
Safe working conditions
Why This Matters
Care workers are often treated as volunteers or outsourced through NGOs, resulting in low wages and lack of labour protections. Despite playing a critical role in healthcare, they are used as cheap labour.
Unite & Organise
Care workers are building a national union to fight for rights, dignity, and fair conditions. Organising collectively is the only way to secure meaningful change.
